I threw out photos and old notes

The things that hurt that the most though, they're just way too deep inside of me

I remember our first Christmas, and the day our child was born. I remember waking up to your breath, whiskey wet and warm.

I'm broken, shattered, just a bunch of pieces laid upon the floor. There's glue and tape but there is nothing as adhesive as before.

I lay inside my cabin, wish for sleep. It doesn't rain, it pours. "No fish today," I think. "We will see what tomorrow has in store."

If this ship starts to sink I hope this bottle makes it to your shore. "You were my dying thought and every single one I had before."
